How to create Azure Resource Group

Creating Azure Resource Group

• Login to the Microsoft Azure Portal:

https://portal.azure.com

• From the left pane, click on "Resource groups"
• Click on Add

• Resource group name: Specify a name for the new resource group
• Subscription: Select the relevant subscription name
• Resource group location: Select a region close to your location

• Click on Create
• Wait for the deployment on the new resource group to complete
• From the "Resource groups" window, click on the newly created resource group
• From the main pane, click on Tags -> add a new tag:

• Name: Specify here Name
• Value: Specify here the name of the newly created resource group

• Click on Save
• Logoff the Microsoft Azure Portal
